Peardeck

Pear Deck is an interactive presentation tool used to actively engage students in individual and social learning. Teachers create presentations using their Google Drive account. Students log into the presentation with a unique access codes and interact with questions, while teachers monitor individual student and whole-class progress.

Framing the Lesson Badge Requirements
The teacher must include a screenshot of an interactive slide that includes a student response to a closing activity or the objectives being projected to the whiteboard during class inside of a Pear Deck lesson. Your evidence must show unique features of Pear Deck. Ex – The Pear Deck teacher dashboard.

Examples of Framing the Lesson using Pear Deck: 

  • Instructor employs bell ringers, checks for understanding, exit tickets, etc. that are built into Pear Deck for their Close activities.

Critical Writing Badge Requirements
The teacher must include a screenshot of an interactive slide that includes a student response to a critical writing prompt inside of a Pear Deck lesson. Your evidence must show unique features of Pear Deck. Ex – The Pear Deck teacher dashboard. 

Examples of Critical Writing using Pear Deck: 

  • Building in Text response create easy to use Critical Writing tasks that are instantly viewable by the instructor

Power Zone Badge Requirements
The teacher must include an photo of themselves utilizing the Pear Deck dashboard on their iPad to stay in the Power Zone or a photo of themselves utilizing a bluetooth mouse with their desktop computer to say in the Power Zone.

Examples of Power Zone using Pear Deck: 

  • Live Pear Deck activities free the instructor away from the lecture position when combined with their iPad using Airplay or a bluetooth mouse for their desktop computer

Recognize & Reinforce Badge Requirements
The teacher must include a screenshot of personalized feedback they have given to a student in Pear Deck that details the student’s growth or achievement on the frame. Your evidence must show unique features of Pear Deck. Ex- The Pear Deck teacher dashboard. 

Examples of Recognize & Reinforce using Pear Deck: 

  • Teacher provides individualized feedback instantly based off of student responses on interactive slides. Optional class reports save directly to Google Drive for monitoring progress
